JC Code & Construction Consultants, Inc. in partnership with the City of Greenacres Building Department is offering 4.0 hours of Florida Building Code continuing education. Funding for this training is provided by a grant from the Florida Building Commission, Department of Business and Professional Regulations (DBPR) and administered through Building A Safer Florida, Inc. (BASF).

Each course provides an overview of the most significant changes occurring in the 6th Edition (2017) Florida Building Codes, Residential Mechanical, Plumbing, and Fuel Gas provisions, Energy Conservation, Residential provisions, and the Existing Building Volume. Both base code changes (2015 International Codes) and Florida Specific Code Amendments are identified and discussed. Courses are approved for continuing education credits for code officials, contractors, architects, engineers, and home inspectors. International Code Council (ICC) certification renewal credits are also earned.
