2021 Trainings

Webinars or classroom training….whichever is your preference,

JC Code is now offering continuing education in both formats.

 JC Code has been working with Building A Safer Florida, Inc. (administrators of the grant), to secure funds for continuing education for the 2021-2022 grant year and is now offering grant funded courses at NO COST to the participants. Registration for these courses begin on July 1st. and can be found to the right of this page.

Webinars are still being offered for those who cannot or prefer not to attend classroom trainings. Those registration links are also to right of this page.

No matter which type of training event you wish to register for, certificates will be provided at time of training (classroom) or sent to each webinar participant that attended the entire training (to the email used when registering) within 10 days. Continuing education hours will be uploaded electronically into the DBPR database within 30 days of class.

 

INFORMATION YOU NEED TO KNOW IF REGISTERING FOR A WEBINAR

System only accepts Visa or MasterCard for payment

JC Code uses GoToWebinar as its training platform. After registering for one of our classes you will receive a link to the training. We recommend that you add [email protected] to your contacts. This will help to avoid the reminder emails ending up in your spam/trash email folder. To receive credit for the training, each person registered must sign in individually as the software tracks log in/log out times and participation (no group sign in). During the training you will be able to interact with the instructor by asking questions and/or typing in your question. These are ‘live’ trainings, not recordings.

If you plan on using only your phone to access the training, you will not get credit for the class. Unless you download the GoToWebinar app to your phone. Without the app the system cannot confirm your attendance. Without this confirmation, JC Code will not be able to upload your CEU hours.

A minimum of ten (10) participants must be registered for a training to proceed. If there is less than 10 registered participants three (3) days prior to any training, JC Code has the option to cancel the training. Cancellation notices will be sent and refunds will be issued.

CANCELLATION POLICY – All cancellations must be received in writing 3 days prior to the training to receive a refund. “No shows” will not receive a refund. Courses are subject to change and/or cancellations. Continue to review your email for any updates.
